Last year I hosted a Canada Day Eve Post Script.  It was tons of fun, and listeners seemed to love the show just as much as I did.  Here’s all that I played:

“Guilty Cubicles”- Broken Social Scene
“Love Song for 15 Ontario (with Singing Police Car)”- Set Fire to Flames
“Moya”- Godspeed You! Black Emperor
“Outer Inner & Secret”- Do Make Say Think

“Stay Lit”- Holy Fuck
“Nancy and the Girdle Boy”- K.C. Accidental
“Darklands”- Flowers of Hell
“Love and Mathematics”- Broken Social Scene
“Kinetic Work”- Hanged Up
“Are You Unloved?”- Years

“Les lumières Pt. 2”- Bell Orchestre
“Something”- Glissandro 70
“Au Crépuscule, Sans Laisse”- Esmerine
“Killed the Lord, Left for the New World”- This Will Destroy You
“Mouton Noir”- Torngat
“Solaris”- City Of A Hundred Spires

“Residential Love Song”- K.C. Accidental
“En Plein Soleil”- my dad vs. yours
“Pairie Train”- Precious Fathers
“Continent & Western”- Fond of Tigers

“A Tender History In Rust”- Do Make Say Think
“Pai Nai”- Shalabi Effect
“Celebrating New”- Torngat

And of course, FIF doesn’t even need to be post rock to make the cut because they’re just THAT good.

Something for Chicago

Before Broken Social Scene there was K.C. Accidental.  The K stands for Kevin Drew, and the C stands for Mr. Charles Spearin. Together they released two records under the name- Anthems For Could’ve Been Pills and Captured Anthems for an Empty Bathtub.  Both albums are purely instrumental and overall, quite mellow.

Here is “Something for Chicago”
